Soldiers dressed in their uniforms look alike, if the verb "resemble" doesn't mean "look similar" then I don't know the meaning of that word.

nah i dont think thats how this game is supposed to be played....some way or the other every word is somehow related to each other and thats what you did right there...so i suppose the current valid word is still resemble
try thinking of words like lookalike, match, relate....
